The information we collect
Contact form. If you use the Contact Me form on this site, we collect the information you submit, including your first name, last name, email address, and the message you write. This information is used solely to respond to your inquiry and is not sold, shared, or used for any other purpose.
Newsletter. If a newsletter signup is active on this site, and you choose to subscribe, we collect your email address in order to send you updates about new articles and site content. You can unsubscribe at any time using the link included in every email.
We do not currently run comments on this site, so no comment-related data is collected.
Server logs. Like most websites, our hosting provider automatically logs basic technical information, including your IP address, browser type, and the pages you visit, as a normal part of running and securing the site. This happens regardless of whether you fill out any form, and is standard practice for essentially all web hosting.
Media
If you view images on this site, please note that images may contain embedded location data (EXIF GPS). We do not intentionally publish location data in our images, but visitors should be aware this type of metadata can technically be extracted from image files where present.

Non-essential cookies are blocked by default until you provide consent. You can change your cookie preferences at any time.
Embedded content from other websites
Articles on this site may include embedded content or links to other websites, including cruise line websites, booking platforms, or other travel-related resources. If you follow a link to another website, that website’s own privacy policy and practices apply, not this one.
