Twenty years of cruising and a lot of opinions.
My first cruise was on The Norway with my parents, at around 15 or maybe a little younger, and I never really stopped. Since then I’ve sailed with more cruise lines than I can even list off the top of my head, though these days it’s mostly Royal Caribbean and Celebrity. I’ve seen enough of the others to know what’s actually different, and what’s just marketing.
I’m not chasing the honeymoon crowd or writing for retirees. I’m somewhere in the middle, and I usually end up planning trips for my whole family, older relatives included. This site is the guide I wish I’d had. Solo, family, or bringing the whole crew, real comparisons from someone who’s actually done it.
